The new Railcar Cleanout System is the first portable system designed
for the sole purpose of getting plugged material unloaded from railcars,
and it does it safer, faster and easier than anything else on the
market.
Unload Railcars in hours instead
of days. Jockeying of problem cars in and out of the unloading bay
is avoided, since they can be resolved quickly with the RailWhip/RailDrill.
Hydraulic power for best

The RailWhip/RailDrill is powered by hydraulics, which means there
is more power, better control, and less expense. The drill has the
power to work its way through rock-hard materials. The hydraulic
cleaning head delivers tremendous power, yet is safe, easy to control,
and won’t damage railcar walls. The Hydraulic Power Unit requires
only a 440 Volt 3-phase electrical hook-up to operate.
Safe
The RailWhip/RailDrill works from the top of the railcar, which
eliminates the need for dangerous, confined space entry and the
endless poking and hammering by employees.
Easy to move, Use
The RailWhip/RailDrill breaks down into easily-handled pieces, has
a quick-clamp system and pick points for moving them from hopper
to hopper with an overhead winch so setting up is quick and easy.

SAFER

top of the railcar.

and poking.

FASTER
- Problem cars can be emptied in a matter of
hours, not days. The hydraulic drill and cleaning head deliver
torque-pounding power to loosen and restore flow to even the toughest
hang-ups. Jockeying of problem cars in and out of the unloading
bay is avoided, since the problem can be resolved quickly with
the RailWhip System. Removed material exits through the discharge
chutes in flowable condition to keep normal plant operations on-line
and production on schedule.
EASIER
It’s as easy as 1-2-3.
- Position the RailDrill at the top of the car
and drill a pilot hole through the plugged material.
- Remove the RailDrill, position the RailWhip
and knock oose the hung-up material.
- Move to the next compartment
and Repeat Steps 1 & 2.
The joy-stick remote controls of the RailWhip System allow the
operator to control precisely the
movement and cleaning action of the system within the car. The
handheld controls also free the
operator to observe the process from the best available vantage
point. Both RailWhip and
RailDrill components feature a quick-clamp system that adapts
to any railcar, and both have a
convenient pick-point for moving the system from hopper to hopper
with an overhead winch.
