First
The
Cardox tube is used from the outside of your equipment. Workers
do not have to enter the clogged area, eliminating any danger
from heat exposure, contaminated air or loosened materials. Because
the Cardox tube is secured in a sealed coupler assembly, your
operators are not exposed to flying debris as can happen with
water injection. They are not dangerously close to the blast area
as with shotgun methods. Plant personnel operate from a safe distance
while Cardox does the work.

Safety Features
As part of the Quik-Lok Coupling System,
sockets are permanently mounted on your equipment wherever buildup
is known or suspected. Using the mating Quick-Lok Tube Clamp,
a sealed coupling is quickly achieved. The CARDOX tube is set
at the desired depth and direction inside the vessel.
This
control of the discharge minimizes any risk to refractory in the
equipment. And the secure coupling means your operators are not
exposed to flying debris as can happen while trying to clear blockage
with water injection. Workers do not have to enter the clogged
area, eliminating any danger from heat exposure, contaminated
air, or loosened materials.
