Resin Pearls and Flakes
Bin and Silo Flow Issues
NO MORE RESIN HANGUPS

Pneumat Plastic Bin and Silo Solutions:

Problem: Plastic resin flakes have a few hang-ups inside the bins.

Pneumat Solution: Strategic positioning of AirForce Cannons (formerly LADCO) on different parts of the bin will result in the plastic resin flakes flowing freely. Different processes of making plastic make a type of resin that is very light and flakey and often get hung-up for various reasons. TeamPneumat will come in and troubleshoot where the cannons should be placed and install them for you.

Problem: Plastic resin prills are bridged over in a bin.

Pneumat Solution: BinDrill can be set-up on the top of the bin and bore a hole is easily bored through the bridged bin. Once a flow channel is created through the prills, the BinWhip can be used. Resin beads will flow out quickly and easily without any employee entering a confined space.

As a preventative measure, AirForce Air Cannons (formerly LADCO) positioned in different spots can also be used in these types of situations. A control-timing box makes bulk flow safer, faster, easier. In the plastic making process the resin prills get hung-up, rathole, or even bridge over in the bin, but not when you have the right tools to make bulk flow.
