Bin and Silo Flow Issues
WHIP AWAY TO GOOD FLOW

Pneumat Grain Bin and Silo Solutions:

Problem: The corn screenings, soybeans and/or rice bins have hang-ups and/or are bridged over.

Pneumat Solution: These are the types of situations that BinWhip and BinDrill were designed. Poking, prying or air lancing isn’t very effective, plus the hassles and issues of getting a confined space entry permit. This is also extremely dangerous for employees because there is no way to determine when the product will give away.

We drill a hole through the bridged-over grain silo, then set the BinWhip up and whip it out to create good flow and a safer work environment. If your company doesn’t have the time or manpower to clear all your bins, TeamPneumat will do it for you, regardless of the product, in any bin or silo.

Problem: The wheat midds bins have slow flow due to moisture and the subsequent forming of big chunks.

Pneumat Solution: Drill a hole into the chunk of midds at the opening at the bottom of the bin and place a rented Cardox tube into the hole. With an eyebolt on the activation head, attach it to a come-along for security and easy retrieval of the tube. Continue to do this until the midds have good flow or until all the chunks are broken up.

With their years of experience, TeamPneumat offers an even easier way to get the job done.

Problem: Fines in the various grain products collected in the transition points between the hopper and sidewalls, creating a build-up.

Pneumat Solution: TeamPneumat will take care of problem areas or provide maintenance on bins on a rotating basis to keep your work environment as efficient as possible. When the build up gets so overwhelming, the capacity in the bin is reduced to a point where it seems as if you are constantly filling the bin. It’s because most of the product has stopped flowing. With the use of BinWhip, BinDrill and/or Cardox, the product can be freed and once again, you have good bulk flow.
