Bin and Silo Flow Issues
SAY GOODBYE TO BLOCKAGES
Pneumat Feed Bin and Silo Solutions
Problem: The wheat middlings, finished
feed and/or bonemeal bins have hang-ups and/or are bridged over.
Pneumat
Solution: BinWhip and BinDrill
are made for these types of situations, because poking, prying and
air lancing isn’t very effective and the hassles and issues
of getting a confined space entry permit just add to the inefficiency
of these other solutions. This is also extremely dangerous for employees
because there is no telling when the product will give away. So
we drill a hole through the bridged-over feed silo then set the
BinWhip up and whip it out to create good flow and a safer work
environment. Regardless of the product in any bin or silo, BinWhip
and BinDrill can get it out safely.
Problem: The wheat midds bins have
slow flow due to moisture and forming big chunks.
Pneumat
Solution: Drill a hole into the chunk of midds at the opening
at the bottom of the bin and place a rented Cardox
tube into the hole. With an eyebolt on the activation head and attach
it to a come-along for security and easy retrieval of the tube.
TeamPneumat is an even easier way to get the job done with their
years of experience.
Problem: Fines in the various grain
and feed products collected in the transition points between the
hopper and sidewalls and it created a build-up.
Pneumat
Solution: Often the build up gets so overwhelming that capacity
in the bin is reduced to a point where it seems as if you are constantly
filling the bin because most of the product in there has stopped
flowing. With the use of BinWhip, BinDrill and/or Cardox the product
can be freed. Each tool fits different situations, but achieve one
common goal; good bulk flow.
TeamPneumat
will take care of problem areas or provide maintenance on bins on
a rotating basis for the most efficient work environment.
