Bulk Material Flow from Bins, Hoppers,
Railcars, and Storage Vessels
REGAIN FLOW QUICKLY
Why Choose Pneumat?
Grain by-products (DDG) can often
be a problem: It’s hard to store and move and tends to lock
in place. So when bulk flow in Ethanol processing plants is disrupted
from blockage, Pneumat products and/or TeamPneumat
can take care of the periodic clearing and cleaning of high volume
storage.
Traditional methods, such as vibrators and sledgehammers, are slow
and dangerous, using too many personnel. But Pneumat can take care
of these blockages in hours, not days, with just one operator safely
away from the bin using joysticks to remotely control the cleaning.
Using a BinWhip,
BinDrill and/or Cardox,
Pneumat can knock down problems before they build into huge expensive
ones, while keeping your processes online and your employees safe
and more productive instead of beating on clogged bins. The BinWhip
and BinDrill units are also designed to be modular so you can easily
move them from bin to bin whether your clog is corn, screenings
and/or dried distillers’ grain.
Pneumat’s hydraulic powered
BinWhip and BinDrill are designed to fit grain bins of any shape
or size. Hydraulic power is efficient and controllable; so more
power goes into cleaning instead of spinning in mid-air or blowing
dust around like air-powered machines. Because they are both reversible
machines, they’ll crawl into all corners just by changing
the direction of rotation, and you can also bring the drill up with
ease. The BinWhip’s full hitting power and torque are available
at all speeds, so speed is not needed to develop power. This means
you can operate our machine at lower speeds with much greater control
without losing power, simply because it beats on the product, not
the air.
The Cardox tube is used from the outside of your equipment or storage
vessel. Workers do not have to enter the clogged area, exposing
them to contaminated air or loosened materials.
Stop Railcars from being sent back
because of stuck DDG’s.
Problem: Dried Distillers Grain
(DDG) is stuck in a railcar. DDG is usually bought, put in the railcars
hot and wet and then travel thousands miles vibrating and compacting
the entire journey. Then arrived to the mill with the DDG hard and
non-flowing.
Pneumat
Solution: The RailWhip/RailDrill Railcar Cleanout System
drastically reduces unloading times and employee exposure to dangerous
unloading activities. And lifting point brackets allow for easy
movement from hopper to hopper.
If the railcar is bridged over, start
by using the RailDrill and create a flow channel. Then use the RailWhip
to cleanout the DDG, or just the RailWhip can be used on other railcars
that already have a flow channel.
We design, build and use these machines.
Through use in a variety of different environments and product clogs,
we are constantly improving the effectiveness, efficiency and ease
of use that keeps Pneumat the leader in bin cleanout technology.
We have the tools, the experience
and the skills to handle any type of bulk flow problem that might
arise in an ethanol facility. Bottom line: we’ve either seen
or we will figure it out.
