Bin and Silo Flow Issues
GOOD FLOW TOP TO BOTTOM
Pneumat Bin and Silo Solutions:
Problem: The dried distillers grain
(DDG) bins have hang-ups and/or are bridged over.
Pneumat Solution:
It is these types of situations that BinWhip
and BinDrill are made for. Poking, prying
or air lancing isn’t very effective, not to mention the hassles
and issues of getting a confined space entry permit. This is also
extremely dangerous for employees because there is no telling when
the product will give away.
We drill a hole through the bridged-over
DDG silo then set the BinWhip up and whip it out to create good
flow and a safer work environment. If your company doesn’t
have the time or manpower to do all these bins, will come do it
for you. It doesn’t matter the product in any bin or silo,
BinWhip and BinDrill can get it out safely.
Problem: Corn screenings bins are
plugged up and not flowing.
Pneumat
Solution: Drill a hole into the product from the opening
at the bottom of the bin and place a rented Cardox tube into the
hole. With an eyebolt on the activation head, attach a come-along
to it for security and easy retrieval of the tube. Continue to do
this until the screenings have good flow.
Sweepings, dust collection, and chaff
are often ignored until you can’t fill them anymore. They
need to be emptied because the product stuck in the bins has already
been purchased. These fines-laden material have often been settling
for months or years, and have become hardened by the layering that
develops. Put Team Pneumat's years of
experience to work for you and get the job done right.
